Newsflash! Earn2Life‘s Pay4Visit program now involves a sort of quiz, by which you may prove that you were actually paying attention. There are three multiple-choice questions. You must get them all right.
Some shops are more lax with these quizzes than others. “What color predominates at 24k Elite Dance Club & Shopping? Purple, or purple?” You get two guesses. (The first one doesn’t count.)
Some are more enigmatic. “How many camping devices does our Mall Community have?” Good question. I have a few good questions of my own. How long will it give me to walk around counting? Does a L$2/30 camping bench with three poseballs count as one device or three? Supposing they count as one each, I count at least seven, so how come the top two available answers are “six” and “ten”? And “ten” is wrong?! Is L$6 really worth this bother?
Anyway. First location I saw this happening at was “Kerhop’s Innovations” (“Creative Solutions On The Cutting Edge”). Kerhap runs a nifty little shop selling interesting gizmos. Whilst listening to the soothing sounds of light jazz over the local stream, you can contemplate the tech on offer, including but not limited to:
And it’s an itty bitty little shop, so you won’t get lost checking out the wares or studying for your Earn2Life pop quiz. Meanwhile, if you need any help, a pyramid-shaped device in the northeast corner will indicate whether Kerhop is online and taking calls.
As a bonus, Kerhop’s next-door neighbor has a functioning Stargate. No, really. Head out outside (it’s an angled exit, somewhat hard to see; find the blue Picks push-pin and look to its right) and take a right on Easy Street. Fly up to the second floor. Where the FULLY OPERATIONAL STARGATE is. And listen to “Doin’ Tha Butt (Sex-ay Sex-ay)” and other dying-disco-era hits from your childhood (or your parents’ courtship years, whatever, darn-you-kids-get-off-my-lawn.)
There will be a quiz after. If you were reading carefully, you already know two of the three potential answers. And no, neither of them is “Stargate.” But still: STARGATE! (squeee)
