Tomorrow (Saturday, March 13th), is not only the kick off party to the 2010 Relay For Life season here in Second Life, but a time when 2 special events are taking place, to raise money to put towards the American Cancer Society.
The BOSL (Best of Second Life) Organization, are preparing an event to Remember the late Designer Alexander McQueen, where Residents attending the Patch Thibaud Auditorium will be given the opportunity to see or buy one of a kind dresses, created and designed by Second Life’s Top fashion creators. And all the proceeds will go towards Relay For Life, and helping sufferers of Cancer. Definitely worth a visit, it begins at 4pm, but if you are reading this post afterwards…I’m sure you will read about it somewhere.
Secondly, SL Clothing Fair…a place where Second Life Residents can go, buy some clothes on offer, and raise some more money towards the American Cancer Society here in the Virtual World! This event is going to be run from the 13th – 21st, so around a week! So if you can, do go along and search for it in SL. It can be found in the Events tab in-world.
It really does go to show, that people here in Second Life, and the virtual world itself, can do some real good, and benefit the Real World. So lets go and support this! And do some goooood!
