Eye of the Beholder..

Hello Kiddies, fellow readers of the metaverse!

Lets start with a , is there such a thing as beauty is in the eye of the beholder, or rather, is art completely different from one person’s point of view than other’s.  The answer to that question is a big fat YES.  And the reason I say YES,  is cause well it’s just a simple fact.  One person might see something that will blow there mind, while another’s taste will find it repulsive.

Now mind you, even if the picture is the most fab work you’ve ever done, or is just that awesome, someone out there in SL or Real will find it not so flattering.  Why you ask.. as tears roll down your face.. whhhhhy?  Because, everyone is made differently, while one might like zombies and blood guts and gore, another might like butterflies and pretty flashy rings, and another might find both of those things just completely horrible and go for more of the panting, oil etc.

Everyone has there tastes and styles, and art no matter what it is, weather it be drawing, virtual, abstract or anything futher cause I could go on with this, it will never satisfy every single human being.  Some might have to try them all, no one person will always go to the same place over and over, they have to venture, explore and ultimately just have fun.

Case and point, I had a visitor, she had been going to the SAME person for 4 years.  But they had hit a block, a stone in the road, and she wanted to try something different.  And she found she liked ‘different’.  Some will love different, some will hate different.  But as always, art to one’s self is always the best, the most beautiful.

Yet we are are own worst critic … seriously.  It’s horrible to look at your own work and go I hate it!  And then start over again, and just keep hating it till you can’t stand it anymore, then you find it has a certain charm and end up loving to hate it.  Lets face it, art is just that ART.  Beauty is just that Beauty, weather it’s not your taste or not, someone else out there will find it better than another.

Moral of this story,  never decide what one person will like, let other’s make decisions on there own, great things can happen that way .  TA for now my artful tadertots
