My name is Mimi Juneau, owner of Mimi’s Choice in virtual worlds.  I have owned a sim in Inworldz for over a year now.  I love it, so I thought I’d write about it.  In this weekly column I want to tell you about all the newest hottest things in Inworldz.  Things to buy, things to see, places to go and people to meet.  So, for my first article:

Sterling Gardens Mall @ Varriale Designs celebrated it’s GRAND OPENING April 28th, and I was there talking to the owner and designer of this establishment,  Skye Varriale.

Skye Varriale is also the owner and creator of Varriale Designs Homes and Gardens in SL.  She has been building and designing in virtual worlds for nearly 5 years.  Prior to that, she had her homes and designs showcased several times by the Electronic Arts Company in an international TV commercial, as well as on a MTV documentary about video games.

In SL, Skye co-owns the Duchy du Coeur, a 15-region Duchy set in 18th century France, along with her partners, Bedrich Panacek and Tatiana Dokuchic Varriale.  Additionally, she owns a mainland region, La Place du Coeur, which is much like the new Sterling Gardens here in IWZ.

Bedrich Panacek and Skye also co-own a region design business, De Coeur Designs, which they are currently bringing to IWZ.  De Coeur Designs are semi-custom full region designs easy to set up and a lot less expensive than a custom design. They have 10 different beautiful Designs to choose from in SL and they will bring them here to IWZ on a per sale basis.  Same goes for Skye’s homes…pick one out in SL and she will bring it here for you! She has over 100 homes to choose from.

Bedrich and Skye decided to come to IWZ because they see a lot of potential here and because they are looking toward the future of virtual worlds in general and feel this is the time to expand their businesses. They also really liked the way people are so welcoming here! Their  goal is to make new friends, network with people and build Varriale Designs and De Coeur Designs in IWZ into a successful business and fun place for people to visit!

In RL, Sky is an  Artistic Director/Owner of a Dance Studio/Company and her partner Bedrich is a freelance IT person; between the two of them, they do a lot of interesting things in the virtual worlds!
